Identity is an important piece of how we show up and why we are passionate about the work we do.
Tonya Fewell is a highly driven woman who was born to break barriers; she proves that when powered by purpose, women are unstoppable. She’s built her storied life and career brick by brick, fighting fears, failures, and setbacks to have the success she’s always known was hers to claim. Today she personifies what it means to ascend above adversity while inspiring countless others to do the same. Having honed her expertise for almost two decades, her work is a testament to what it means to leave an undeniable mark on the world.
She inspires. She empowers. She unleashes.
Extraordinary at walking others through a radical transformation, systems change and goal achievement, she is as relentless about others' success as she is about her own. She is more than a coach, she is a champion because she doesn’t simply change lives – she expands them!
As a single mother of 3, my actions are deeply inspired by and connected to youth and parents facing similar situations. While I strive to broaden my perspective, I remain intentional about shining a light on this often-overlooked group in all our endeavors.
As an individual with a neuro-disability and a mother of children facing the same, I possess a unique sensitivity and determination for fostering inclusion, advocate for change, and raise awareness. My diverse roles as a community representative, educator, and DEI specialist have allowed me to bring attention to these crucial areas and beyond.
I hold the conviction that an effective implementation plan is essential in various aspects, be it parenting or projects. Nevertheless, during challenging circumstances, achieving clarity can be daunting without the right support. Frequently, our identities hinder us from accessing the assistance we require, leaving us to navigate on our own.
As a Black woman with a background in higher education, I draw from the unique experiences of BIPOC professionals who navigate life beyond conventional norms. My passion lies in both advocating for and embodying cultural competence, awareness, authenticity, and unity within the spaces we inhabit and the work we engage in.
